Kay is a freelance make-up artist based in Worcestershire. She works nationally & cover areas including Hereford, Worcestershire, Warwickshire, Staffordshire Birmingham & the West Midlands. Kay has always had a love for art & beauty so make-up artistry came naturally to her. Specialising in bridal, editorial & photography, special effects & theatrical make-up, Kay stays up to date with the latest trends & is able to create the perfect look for you. She loves making people look & feel fantastic & really enjoys the festivities of a busy studio, set or bridal suite.

I worked within the beauty retail industry for over 3 1/2 years as a fragrance, skincare & cosmetics specialist. My job was to assist & offer advice to customers about their beauty regime, helping them in selecting products that were perfectly suited to their needs & requirements. I went on to complete a BTEC course in makeup application
& Levels 2 & 3 VTCT Diplomas in theatrical, media & special effects makeup.
It was here I realised my passion lay within bridal, fashion & photography make-up.

I am a big believer in "you are what you eat" & feel that what we put on our skin is just as important as what we put into our body. The skin is our canvas & so needs to be treated in the correct way.
I always make sure that each product I use brings out the best in your skin & protects it inside & out.
Over the years I have thoroughly researched into companies that are ethical, natural & cruelty free. I pride myself in only using brands that are 100% cruelty free. I use a vast selection of products from professional & high street brands.
Some of my favourites being from both high end & high street suppliers.
These include- Illamasqua, Kryolan, Mehron, GOSH Cosmetics, Jane Iredale & Anastasia Beverley Hills.
My favourite airbrush brands are Airbase & Temptu.

I carefully select products, tools & equipment after trialling & testing them thoroughly on myself. I am an independent consultant for Neal's Yard Remedies Organic & on all my clients use their award-winning products to treat & prepare the skin. All are paraben free, organic & are suitable for use on all skin types.
